Bike Rental -- Bahamas
Bahamas - In Nassau bicycles rent at $10 or $20 per day. A $10 or $50 deposit is required.
In Marsh Harbour there are two places: (1) "The Wheel" about 200 meters east of the Lofty Fig on the north side of the road. It's accross from the Sea Breeze motel. It appears to be family owned and operated.They have a $5
half day rate on a decent one speed bike. $10 for a full 24 hours. (2) There is another place on the same side of the road as the Lofty Fig about 50 meters to the east near the conch pizza place. They aren't open all the
time and it's hard to return and rent the bikes.
In Harbour Island (off N. Eleuthera) you can rent a bike immediatly to the left after walking off the main dock. It's $10 a day there for a sturdy one speed new looking bike. Look for the old black lady running the straw hat
hut. She is the proprietor of the bike concession.
