Grace Brown remains the favorite after winning the gold at Commonwealth Games. She undoubtedly received a tough match at the individual time trial for women, but she overcame all the obstacles and took the win in her name on 4th August 2022.
The Australian had just raced at the Tour De France Femmes. Anna Henderson of England landed the second spot while Georgia Williams of New Zealand managed to win the bronze closing in on second place. Brown maintained the best time at 40:38, Henderson followed behind with just 33 seconds more while Williams was a whole 1:20 minutes behind.
Brown remained fastest throughout the track and glided carefree on the rough roads. Only 5 of the riders were able to fall within 5 minutes after Brown’s time. A total of 31 riders set out to compete in the time trials.
