The frame on the Lectric XP 3.0 is nothing new, in fact, we have seen it on countless other bikes. Lectric makes better use of its frame though, it is more sturdy and lightweight than others, and it can be folded. This is a foldable electric bike that is meant for 2 people, isn’t that exciting? If you have tried out the XP 2.0, then it takes that design and formula to the next level!
The XP 3.0 also comes with an integrated cargo rack with an impressive weight limit of 150 lbs (68 kg). Just imagine all of the grocery shopping that you can do with it. We tested it out and only had high praise for it, if you are a speed freak then you are going to love the new and improved gearing system. The revamped gearing system makes riding at higher speeds very stable and comfortable.

Motor and Battery Impressions
The real magic behind an electric bike is it’s motor and battery, Lectric Bikes fully understands this. This time around, the XP 3.0 features an “Upgraded” motor that can push out 1,000 watts of power and 55 Nm (41 ft-lb). This is really impressive as users get to enjoy a top speed of 28 mph, the bikes also come with different pedal-assist and a throttle function too.
Customization is something every person likes, and Lectric Bikes has taken it as their directive. They give users the option to upgrade their battery size with a 672-watt-hour juice box. With this new battery size, the bike can push through 65 miles range which is really impressive. For this upgrade, you will have to pay $200 more, it isn’t much but it is still an extra payment.
If you are not a fan of upgrades then the standard battery size works really well too, on a singular charge the bike offers 45 miles peak range.
Tires and Braking Structure
What else is exciting about Lectric XP 3.0? Let’s not forget the 3-inch cross-section tires, there is also the front fork with 50 millimeters (2.16 inches) of travel, these additions will definitely soften up your rides. We were also very satisfied with the mechanical brakes with 180-millimeter (7.1-inch) rotors and 7-gear drivetrain, you are going to have enough power for all sorts of urban adventures.
Lasting Impressions
The Lectric XP 3.0 may not be light, but it has something that other electric bikes don’t. It has a unique foldable design that allows you to carry a passenger or cargo up to 150 pounds. The mechanical disc brakes should also provide ample braking power to handle any kind of situation.
