Cube Reaction Review
Cube Reaction bikes were hard to review for us. It’s mostly because these bikes are suitable for cyclists with skills ranging between pro and 4-year-old. We took these bikes on a weekend cross country trip to see how they fared with our expectations.
This model is definitely a head turner upon first sight. The monocoque carbon frame is not only lightweight, it’s also usually painted a bright yellow or a blue. The frame is bulky, mind you, but it’s sturdy as well. The stiffness the reinforced carbon layers provide is perfect to keep the front fork in place, especially if you are veering all over the place.
The frame is provided additional rigidity by the 15mm through-axle of the rear. If you are just beginning to cycle on somewhat challenging roads, this bike would provide excellent control, navigation and comfort. The frame is perfect for stable rides. Fit 4 controls plus the frame design makes navigating corners easy peasy.
This model has a tapered headset and press-fit bottom bracket so it’s easy for noobs to maintain and upgrade. As for cons, some might not like the bulky frame, especially when going uphill. Pros will not like this design.

The Verdict
Cube Reaction didn’t blow us out of our minds, but it certainly served its purpose.
We could see how the lightweight and strong frame could come in handy if someone is just discovering cross country cycling.
Cube Reaction is easy to take care of, so if you are not an avid cyclist but want to own a good bike, this model would do quite well.
