Kink Gap Review
The Kink Gap that we reviewed was a gorgeous Cadet Blue, and it look wonderful. The color was smooth and well done. The frame, fork and the bars are all made of 100% chromoly for added durability even on the roughest of tracks.
This was paired with a Mission Converge sealed headset and Mission Helix grips. We decided that the bike was actually a little lighter than the typical BMX, making it a good choice for beginners and young bikers as well. It is definitely one that is made to have fun on.
Overall, the lifetime of the bike is also pretty great, although the ride can be less than perfect at times. The lightness means that it is a lot better for jumps, although one might feel that the durability is in question as well.
It is one of the best beginner bikes out there that we have had the pleasure of trying, and we definitely can’t wait to see where it takes us. One of the few complaints that we had was that the seat wasn’t the most comfortable out there, so we had to get an aftermarket saddle.

The Kink Gap is one of the most beautifully made bikes out there, and is perfect for any new entrant to the BMX scene.
From the great frame and the durability of the bike to the lightness and the ease with which a newbie can get used to it, the Kink Gap was a bike we had a ton of fun reviewing.
